This is a stunning antique bronze pin cushion, richly decorated in a mix of Victorian and early Art Nouveau style. Made in the late 19th century, it was used by dressmakers or sewing enthusiasts to store pins and needles.

The base is beautifully cast in bronze, raised on four ornate feet, each corner showing a sculpted female bust with feathered headdress. The sides feature detailed scrollwork and a crowned coat of arms with a diagonal band, three stars, and a heraldic griffin — a symbol often associated with British decorative arts.

The green shiny cushion is set into the top and secured with visible blue stitching underneath. This piece blends function and decoration, and remains a striking object for collectors of sewing antiques or 19th-century decorative arts.

One foot is slightly bent, creating a 0.5 cm tilt — visible in the photos. It can likely be corrected if desired.

Very likely made in the United Kingdom, ca. 1880–1900.
