A superb antique cast iron cauldron on a wrought iron tripod stand, made in Belgium in the 19th century (stand) and late 19th/ early 20th century for the cauldron/ cooking pot. A piece with a lot of character and beautiful craftsmanship. This rare piece would have been used in a busy kitchen, the handle made it possible to hang it above an open fire, and it could stand on hot coal on the tripod.

Overall good condition, with rust and wear. The imperfections are consistent with age and add character to this piece. A beautifully crafted piece with a lot of charm and history that has the unique presence of antique, hand-wrought iron and would look fantastic in any interior or collection and would look fantastic in a Cottagecore/ Eaglish or French country style kitchen.
