Fossil Echinoid - Fossil skeleton - Pseudocidaris Mammosa - 189 mm - 237 mm
The Mammosa Pseudocidaris is a fossil sea urchin, considered the ancestor of today's sea urchins.
Dating back to the Jurassic period, approximately 150-200 million years ago, it is a wonderful fossil that has been restored with the splendid three-dimensionality given by shapes and proportions very different from today's sea urchins.
Mounted on a base of wood design and wrought iron, it transforms into an elegant and exclusive design or collection piece.
