Meridian - 206B CD player

Near mint CD player Meridian 206b The lot includes a cd player, power supply cable, original remote control, printed version of user manual and a printed version of “Hi-Fi choice” magazine from 1990 with review of this cd player. The exterior is excellent – there is no scratches over the glass front panels, nor on the cover. No erased letters, no issues on the display. In fact it looks like new item! I only installed new feet. Here is the highly desirable Bitstream Conversion model with the Philips DAC7 Chipset and CDM4/19 Transport. Everything inside is in original condition, very clean no repairs, because no need. Very solid build quality. Despite the dimensions, 325 x 100 x 320 mm, the player is quite heavy – 6,4kg. The drawer opens and closes effortlessly and read discs very fast. In fact it read all type of discs, even old CD-R. The remote control is original and works fine. The player have both analog and digital outputs. The 206B delivers a liquid, refined sound with a good balance between bass, mids, and highs. It's known for its realistic portrayal of instruments, particularly in the upper registers. It employs a transport mechanism that is isolated from the drawer with Sorbothane supports, potentially minimizing vibrations and improving sound quality. Housed in two cabinets bolted together, the transport on the left and the electronics on the right, with remote control. On the rear panel, RCA line out sockets, a coaxial digital output, an EIAJ optical digital output socket, a 200 Comms socket for connection to other Meridian 200 Series equipment and a power On/Off switch. Will be packed securely and sturdily with suitable packaging materials, laser lens will be secured also.
