Up for sale is a pair of Tannoy Mayfair T225 speakers from the late 1970's . These were the top of the line in the T series tannoy and feature a 2528 10 inch dual concentric with the classic peperpot waveguide and a passive radiator, For those of you not aware, vintage Tannoy speakers have a cult following and are considered collectable for their ability to recreate almost realistic music, they not only hold but actually gain in value the older they get .
 The cabinets and grilles have some sun damage and 1 grill has a small tear, repaired, and 2 grillclips are missing these will be easily resored i wish my health would allow it. The drivers have that amazing tannoy coherence and pin point imaging , the foam surrounds are in excellent condition and have clearly been cared for over the years. these are fully original and have been looked after , a great example of this model and becoming rare to find. There is some fine scuff marks on the tops and i have had brand new 5mm shatterproof clear glass shelves cut to fit them perfectly. 
These speakers are super efficient and are a stunning fit for valve tube amplifiers.  These are the last true tannoys, and a perfect way to start a journey into realistic audio reproduction. 
The crossovers have been tested and work flawlessly.
