Who Framed Roger Rabbit : Baby Herman original animation drawing + certificate - Amblin, 1989

Who Framed Roger Rabbit - Baby Herman Original Animation Drawing (Walt Disney/Amblin, 1989) + CERTIFICATE "I'll save ya, Baby!" Something's cooking when the curious Baby Herman is out for trouble in this animation drawing from the Maroon Cartoon Tummy Trouble, starring Roger Rabbit and Baby Herman! For the first time in 16 years, Walt Disney Pictures revived the concept of feature length theatrical films being accompanied by a short film. The financial success of Buena Vista Pictures theatrical box-office blockbuster Who Framed Roger Rabbit, was the decisive factor that resulted in three all-new Maroon Cartoon short films starring Roger Rabbit and Baby Herman along with cameos from Jessica Rabbit and Droopy Dog. Tummy Trouble was the first animated film in the never-to-be-repeated, short-lived series, produced by the Walt Disney Feature Animation team in association with Steven Spielberg's Amblin Entertainment. The short film featured Baby Herman, the middle-aged, baby-faced toon actor in his namesake role, voiced by both April Winchell (within the cartoon short) and Lou Hirsch (in the live-action-animated post-short sequences). This rough drawing was prepared for a scene appearing in the Maroon Cartoon in which the expressive Baby Herman crawls across a scene. The artwork is rendered in graphite and colored pencils on animation paper measuring 13" x 10.5" and is in very good condition overall, the papers exhibiting expected toning, and minimal creases and wear. Size : 32,5 x 27 cm The drawing is sold with a certificate of authenticity including 4 levels of security.
