Both speakers are serviced, some capacitors and transistors are replaced.
Settings adjusted, input re-soldered and contacts cleaned.

22RH541 – Electronic HiFi speaker box with revolutionary Motional Feedback system. More than meets DIN45500. Built-in power amplifier with a continuous power of 30 Watts. Flat frequency response. Separate speakers for bass and treble reproduction. High efficiency. Very compact; capacity 8 litres. Electronic power switch, which automatically switches the box on and off. Wooden cabinet in brown-black ash with black fabric front panelling.

When it became clear after the launch of the prototype 22RH532 in 1974 that MFB technology had a future, Philips quickly started working on a second line of Motional Feedback loudspeakers. The 22RH541 is the smallest member of this generation and is a striking speaker box in every way. It contains all the gadgets of its predecessor, the 532, but has been developed even smaller so that the size is definitely not an obstacle to purchase. With its height of barely 30 centimetres, the 541 is the best model for the Motional Feedback principle: big sound from a small box. In 1978, a second version of the 541 follows, the models /50R and /65R, in which the brand new AD 0140 /T8 is chosen as tweeter instead of the now well-known AD0161. This improved tweeter should compensate for the somewhat shrill character of its predecessor. A new 7″ MFB woofer is also used, which has a higher load capacity and therefore distorts less quickly.
