El anillo de enfoque está muy duro, como en muchas FED de la época —nada roto, simplemente seco. Se puede usar tal cual, aunque para un uso habitual se recomienda una limpieza y lubricación del helicoide, algo común y sencillo para cualquier técnico o manitas del analógico.

The focus ring is very stiff, as was common in many FEDs of that era — nothing broken, just dry. It can be used as is, although for regular use it is recommended to clean and lubricate the helicoid, a simple and common task for any technician or handyman experienced with analog equipment.
