Hello, I am auctioning a Commodore 8296 computer. I am listing it as non-functional; it does not turn on. I have no idea what is wrong with it, as I am not very skilled in this area, and I do not undertake repairs. Perhaps someone smarter than me may succeed in reviving this relic.
The computer was brought from Germany and was used in a school. The initials are burned into the casing where it was used, visible in the pictures of the casing. Unfortunately, someone unnecessarily removed the inscription from the keyboard, which I think was unnecessary because it did not spoil the keyboard at all. Perhaps the person from whom I purchased the computer tried to remove this inscription non-professionally, as seen in the keyboard photos. The casing is not cracked at all.
