Le camion compresseur Ford Thames Lesney 28b a rejoint la série Matchbox 1-75 en 1959,
remplaçant le Bedford 28a, plus petit.
Il était peint en une seule couleur : jaune avec des garnitures argentées sur les phares, la
calandre, le pare-chocs avant et la calandre du compresseur à l'arrière.
Sur les versions ultérieures, la garniture argentée pouvait être omise de la calandre du
compresseur
Elle était vendue en trois types de boîtes : « B », « C » et « D ».
Elle a été supprimée en 1964 pour laisser la place à la Jaguar Mark 10 .
Ilm s'agit ici de la boite type D, avec roues noires
