Domain Edmond Vatan is located in Chavignon. The domain produces only 4,000 bottles per year. Vatan is considered one of Sancerre's mythic winemakers, with almost 60 vintages to his name. The parcels of Clos La Néore are located to the south the Les Monts Damnés. The vines are south-facing and grow on Kimeridgian limestone. The Vatan family gets the very best out of this exceptional terroir, achieving a wonderful expression of Sauvignon Blanc.. Since the 2018 vintage, Clos La Néore has been available only in magnum format .
