Scailmont – Gemarmerde Art Deco vaas (1e helft 20e eeuw)

Decoratieve vaas in gemarmerd glas van de Belgische glasfabriek Scailmont, rond de jaren '30.
De vaas valt op door haar expressieve oranje patroon, typerend voor de artistieke experimenten binnen het interbellum.

Scailmont, gevestigd in Manage (België), stond in die periode bekend om zijn innovatieve gebruik van kleur en techniek in geperst en geblazen glaswerk. Onder leiding van ontwerpers als Heemskerk bracht de fabriek een reeks opvallende modellen uit die vandaag geliefd zijn bij verzamelaars van Art Deco-glas.

Een prachtig en karaktervol stuk met een sterke visuele impact.
