« Armes De Chasse » - Foulard Hermès 90 cm

Sur fond de scènes de chasse qui semblent tirées de peinture de Jean- Baptiste Oudry, Philippe Ledoux représente au premier plan quatre exemples de dague de vénerie. Datant de la seconde moitié de 18ème siècle, cette dague est aussi appelée couteau de vénerie. La longueur de cette arme, que est presque une épée, correspond à un usage pour grand gibier tel que le cerf.
