The Miracle of the "White-Boned Dragon" on Red Stone Slab

Discovered in Guizhou, China, this marine reptile dates back to the Jurassic-Cretaceous period. Its complete skeleton is embedded in a red stone slab, creating a striking visual contrast akin to a natural painting.  

Guizhou is a "treasure trove" of paleontological fossils in China, and the discovery of the "White-Boned Dragon" provides crucial insights into ancient marine ecosystems. Its skeletal structure and dental features help unravel the biological evolution and environmental changes of the Paleo-Tethys Ocean during the Triassic to Cretaceous periods.  

The red stone slab owes its vivid crimson hue to its high iron content, while the unique sedimentary conditions have preserved intricate fossil details, such as vertebrae and ribs, in exceptional condition. The folk name "White-Boned Dragon" blends local dragon legends, adding a layer of mystique to this remarkable find.
