Midleton Very Rare 2021 is the 38th release in the Midleton Very Rare series and the first created under Master Distiller Kevin O'Gorman. It's a blend of single pot still and single grain Irish whiskeys, aged between 12 and 35 years in American oak barrels. The whiskey is known for its delicate floral perfume, roasted coffee beans, salted caramel, and honeycomb notes. It is a limited edition and each bottle is individually numbered and signed by the Master Distiller.

First Release under Kevin O'Gorman: This 2021 vintage marks the beginning of O'Gorman's tenure as Master Distiller at Midleton. 
Blend of Pot Still and Grain Whiskeys: A combination of different pot still styles (light, mod, and trad) and grain whiskeys are used, with a slightly higher proportion of grain whiskey compared to the previous year's vintage. 
Aged in American Oak: The whiskeys are aged in both first-fill and second-fill American oak ex-bourbon barrels. 
Tasting Notes: The whiskey offers a delicate floral perfume, hints of nectarines, ginger, and nutmeg spice, along with notes of honeyed fruit, toasted oak, and vanilla. 
Limited Edition: Each bottle is individually numbered and signed by the Master Distiller.
