This elegant four-arm candleholder was designed by the renowned Bauhaus designer Wilhelm Wagenfeld in 1952 for WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik). Though unmarked, the design corresponds to catalogue entry No. 554 in "Täglich in der Hand – Werkverzeichnis" (Worpsweder Verlag, 1994, p. 334).

The candleholder is crafted in silver-plated metal with a zapon lacquer finish. It features a clean, geometric, trumpet-shaped design characteristic of Wagenfeld’s functional yet refined aesthetic. The four detachable sockets (screw fittings) allow for easy handling and cleaning.
