Rare collier torque de chef ou de notable teke, en laiton ciselé. Authentique art muséal en très bon état. 
Provient d'une collection privée, acquise en Belgique.
Un bijou qui occupe une place importante dans les traditions du peuple Teke d'Afrique centrale.   Fabriqué avec un savoir-faire et une attention exceptionnelle aux détails, ce collier est un symbole d'autorité, de leadership et de prestige au sein de la communauté Teke.   
Il présente divers motifs géométriques, motifs symboliques. Chaque élément est soigneusement fabriqué à la main, mettant en valeur le savoir-faire de l'artisan et la richesse culturelle du peuple Teke.  
Ces colliers sont généralement portés par les chefs Teke lors de cérémonies importantes, de rassemblements et de réunions tribales, signifiant leur position estimée dans la communauté.   Le matériau en laiton fait preuve d'une apparence royale, symbolisant la richesse et la prospérité.                                                              Le modèle de collier proposé est identique à celui qui est exposé au Musée du Quai Branly à Paris (voir dernière photo)
