Fijn met de hand gegoten Dhokra bronzen figuur, afkomstig uit India. 
De sculptuur toont een staande man met een traditionele hoofdtooi en sieraden, met de handen steunend op een langwerpig voorwerp (mogelijk een muziekinstrument of werktuig). 
Gedetailleerd uitgevoerd in de typische Dhokra-stijl met geometrisch lijnenspel en spiraalvormige haarversiering.

Dhokra is een ambachtelijke giettechniek die al ruim 4000 jaar wordt toegepast in India, met name door tribale gemeenschappen in West-Bengalen, Odisha en Chhattisgarh.

Goede staat met sporen van ouderdom – enkele kleine onvolkomenheden, patina
Let op: zichtbare oxidatie, ouderdomssporen en lichte onregelmatigheden passend bij de traditionele werkwijze.
