Full-Automatic Linear Tracking Turntable – Black Edition
Topklasse draaitafel uit het digitale tijdperk van Marantz

De Marantz TT551 werd gelanceerd in een periode waarin precisie, compactheid en gebruiksgemak centraal stonden. Deze draaitafel was destijds één van de meest geavanceerde modellen in zijn prijsklasse, met een volautomatisch linear-tracking systeem. Ondanks de kunststof behuizing is deze draaitafel technisch bijzonder verfijnd en werd hij gepositioneerd als ‘top of its class’ binnen de consumentenmarkt.

Kenmerken
	•	Linear Tracking: De toonarm beweegt automatisch in rechte lijn over de plaat, met minimale tracking error en optimale naalddruk.
	•	Volautomatisch: Eén druk op de knop en de plaat wordt automatisch afgespeeld – inclusief auto-return en stop.
	•	Direct Drive systeem: Fluisterstille, nauwkeurige motor – geen snaar nodig.
	•	Toonarmbediening via knoppen: Bedienfuncties als Cue, Cut, Repeat, Play direct onder handbereik.
	•	Stroboscoopraster geïntegreerd op de body voor fijne snelheidscontrole.

Uitgangen en aansluitingen

Achterzijde voorzien van:
	•	Easy Bus In/Out (voor Marantz component synchronisatie)
	•	Remote Control Bus (afstandbediening doorgekoppeld via andere Marantz-units)
	•	Sync Rec jack (voor opname-synchronisatie met tapedecks)

Voor wie de TT551 op een standaard versterker wil aansluiten, zijn de analoge RCA-uitgangen reeds zichtbaar via de zijwand (L/R tulp). Aarding via externe GND mogelijk (niet vast ingebouwd).

Opmerkingen

Let op: dit is een volautomatische draaitafel met elektronische toonarm aansturing – bediening uitsluitend via frontpanelen (Play, Cue, Repeat). Geen handmatige armverplaatsing mogelijk. Origineel ontworpen voor compatibiliteit met andere Marantz-componenten uit de digitale serie, maar ook los inzetbaar via RCA.
