Product description:

The Intersekt acts as a digital matrix, allowing any global source (e.g. tuner, CD, media streamer) to be played in any room independently—or simultaneously in multiple rooms. It supports full volume control per room and provides feedback to keypads (RCUs) and third-party control systems via RS232  ￼.
It is expandable: the R4S5 handles 4 sources/5 rooms, while the R8S8 supports 8 sources/8 rooms—and further expansion is possible with SES8/RER16 units  ￼.
