Seimar 500mm Telephoto Lens – M42 × 1 Universal Screw Mount – With Original Hard Case – Good Condition

A fine example of the Seimar 500mm telephoto lens, offering remarkable long-range capability ideal for nature, wildlife, sports, or astrophotography. This lens delivers the reach and clarity sought after by both enthusiasts and collectors.

Fitted with the M42 × 1 screw mount – one of the most widely used and versatile mounts of the 20th century – it was adopted by numerous brands such as Pentax, Praktica, Fujica, and Zeiss. Known as the “universal” mount of its era, it allows compatibility with a broad range of vintage SLRs and, with a simple adapter, can also be enjoyed on modern DSLR and mirrorless systems.

Condition: Good overall; the focus ring moves smoothly. Glass is clear with only minor signs of age, as expected from a vintage lens.

Original case: Supplied with its original Seimar hard case, in excellent condition, providing both protection and a touch of period authenticity.
