Pair of Original Vespa License Plates with Tail Lights – Italy, Circa 1950 – Extremely Rare
A rare and authentic pair of 1950s Vespa license plates, complete with integrated tail light housings, including one with the original red lens and reflector. These metal plates, were used on early Vespa models, most likely Vespa 125 (1950–1952) registered in the Province of Forlì (F.O.), Italy.

Condition Report:
Both plates are original and unrestored, retaining factory-stamped numbers with beautiful vintage patina.

Paint is aged with visible surface rust and wear, consistent with 70+ years of age.

One plate retains the complete tail light lens assembly, while the other has only the upper red lens cap.

No major structural damage; mounting points intact.

Numbers: F.O.4 – 4383 and F.O.3 – 8500 (Forlì, Italy).

Cast markings: "S.A.M.M. - MILANO" embossed at the bottom of each plate.

1 x complete integrated tail light with lens and reflector

1 x partial tail light with upper red lens only

Collector’s Note:
These early Italian license plates with integrated lighting units were characteristic of post-war Vespa and Lambretta scooters. The F.O. (Forlì) province code a must-have for any serious Vespa collector or restoration enthusiast.
