18th-Century Pair of Silver-Plated Copper Candlesticks, Louis XIV Style

A rare pair of 18th-century silver-plated copper candlesticks in the Louis XIV style. The three-part design comes complete with the original bobèches (wax drip pans). Each candlestick stands on an elegant octagonal base, highlighting the refined craftsmanship of the period.

Material: silver-plated copper (tested, unmarked, which is common for 18th-century pieces).
Condition: good, with signs of age and use consistent with the period.
Dimensions: height 23cm x width of base 13
Weight: 614 and 656 gram
Provenance: France, family pieces no documentation
