A fine Bronze Age spearhead, cast from bronze featuring a triangular shaped blade with rounded corners. Below is an oval sectioned tang which slightly curves at the base forming a rat tail. This ‘rat-tail’ construction was inserted into a wooden shaft to reduce further splitting upon use. Total length: ± 152,4 mm Condition: good and solid condition.
