Recording King RKS-06 Darkblue: traditionele banjo
Recording King heeft de banjo een heel nieuw uiterlijk gegeven. Zij pakken het met de Starlight-serie helemaal anders aan. Deze resonator-banjo's kregen een unieke kleur zodat u als niet-traditionele of beginnende banjospeler iets speciaals in handen krijgt, dat leuk is om te bespelen én te hebben.
 
Qua constructie is deze banjo een traditionele 5-snarige closed-back banjo. Zo heeft hij een vintage-stijl tone ring van staafstaal met daarop een Remo vel, dat opgespannen is middels een ingekeepte spanring met 24 spanhaken. Verder heeft hij een meerlaagse esdoornhouten rim met dubbele coördinator-staven, metalen resonator en een Recording King-stijl 'hex' flens.
 
De maple hals heeft een 22-frets palissander toets, waarbij de vijfde snaar (A) begint op de vijfde fret. Deze RKS-06 is afgewerkt in de kleur Darkblue Midnight. Het geheel wordt compleet gemaakt met een fraaie Presto-stijl staartstuk en een jaren '30-stijl armsteun.
