Stunning old master violin, with a beautiful one piece softly flamed maple back with interesting carvings is being auctioned off to the highest bidder! Absolute unique single made instrument. The top is a straight high grained spruce. Sides and scroll of softly flamed maple. The instrument has a new boxwood set up, new bridge and new strings. There are no visible cracks or repairs. Some tears and wears to an original golden brown varnish. The whole length of the violin is 585 mm and the back 354 mm. The width of the upper bouts: 168 mm; middle bouts: 111 mm; lower bouts: 210 mm. Full size. The label reads: Pietro Pallotta fece l' anno 1797 n 19 Perugia. The sound of this instrument is of a charming character, rich and beautiful colors, depth and great carrying power. Worldwide shipping by DHL with secured service
