1950s Italian Wool Tapestry Carpet – Floral Design

A handwoven wool tapestry carpet from 1940s or 50s Italy, featuring a richly detailed floral motif in soft dusty rose pinks set against a pale, smoky blue background. The romantic color palette and intricate design reflect the refined artistry of Italian textile work from this era.

This un-hemmed piece is in vintage condition, with light markings and gentle signs of wear that speak to its age and authenticity. Though originally intended as a carpet, it would make a lovely wall hanging or dramatic textile backdrop in a curated interior.

Soft and flexible, it can be easily draped, hung, or styled as you wish—a true one-of-a-kind heirloom piece for collectors and vintage lovers alike.

Colors: Dusty rose pink, pale smoky blue, soft neutrals

Condition: Good vintage condition with light wear and some marks in places.

This carpet has been aired and exposed to the Italian sun but has not bee professionally cleaned. If you wish to have ti cleaned there is a 100 euro surcharge. Just let me know and I'll get it done.
