Lot of 7 original Soviet military items from Russia (1980), in as new condition, including an Air Force - VDV cigarette case, private Border Troops shoulder straps, emblems of airborne units, the Leningrad Mint Internationalist Warrior medal, and the 1st Class Medal for Distinction in Military Service (replica pin), with only 20,000 awarded.

● Cigarette case of the Air Force - VDV. Airborne
Paratroopers.
excellent condition.
The rest of the items in the lot are in UNC condition (not used / not worn, old stock)
● Shoulder straps of a private - Border Troops (subordinated to the KGB of the USSR)
● Emblems of airborne military units.
● Medal to the Internationalist Warrior - Leningrad Mint. (brass, screw, nut, ).
For Afghanistan.
● Medal for Distinction in Military Service, 1st Class.
Very rare award.
Variant 3 . With pin ( replica)

In 1974, the Soviet award system was supplemented by the medal "For Distinction in Military Service".
Another feature was the order of its wearing: the medal was placed on the right side of the chest under the orders, while the other medals were to be worn on the left. Thanks to these distinctions, this award immediately acquired a high status.
