Antique Junghans Wall Clock – 8-Day Movement – Early 20th Century

This is an authentic antique wall clock made by Junghans, one of the most renowned German clockmakers of the early 20th century.
It has the original 8-day movement (signed Junghans), striking on the hour and half-hour with a pleasant sound. The clock is complete with its pendulum and winding key.

The mechanism has been recently checked and oiled, and it keeps good time. The wooden case shows a natural patina with carved decoration and age-related traces that underline its antique charm.

Condition Report

Movement: Original signed Junghans 8-day movement, fully working, strikes on the hour and half-hour. Recently checked and oiled.
Dial: Original dial with some small age-related marks, numbers clear and easy to read (see photos).
Hands: Original, in good condition.

Case: Wooden case with carved details. Natural patina and minor wear, including small cracks in the wood, consistent with age.
Glass: Original glass intact.
Pendulum & Key: Present.
Overall, a well-preserved antique clock, ready to hang and enjoy.

Shipping

I have experience shipping clocks internationally and always pack them with great care. The clock will be shipped by registered post with tracking.

Please note: The gong mechanism has been removed, and as such, the clock does not strike the hours or chime.
The absence of the gong does not affect the timekeeping function. The clock operates silently, which may be preferable for some interiors.
