Max Le Verrier – Presse-lettres en bronze – France – vers 1930

Presse-lettres ou porte-courrier en bronze massif, signé Max Le Verrier (1891–1973), célèbre sculpteur et fondeur français de l’époque Art Déco.

Cet objet de bureau est composé de deux volets articulés par des crochets en laiton, permettant de maintenir des lettres, cartes ou documents. Chaque plaque est finement décorée en relief.

Le décor est ciselé avec précision, dans un style néo-classique et symétrique, typique de la période Art Déco. L’objet présente une patine verte d’origine, soulignant les détails en relief.

La signature “M. Le Verrier” est gravée au dos, accompagnée de la mention “BRONZE”, attestant l’authenticité de la pièce. Objet à la fois utilitaire et décoratif.

• Poids : 1,5 kg environ

Excellent état général, patine d’origine conservée, fonctionnement parfait des volets. Quelques traces normales d’usage sur le bronze.
