Holzkamera / Plattenkamera in sehr gutem Zustand. Der Hersteller ist Taylor’s Drug Co. Ltd. / Leeds & London.  Der Typ ist „The Initial“. Das Objektiv ist beschriftet mit: 
ROSS London No. 615. ZEISS Anastigmat Patent 1:7.2 F 220mm. 
Die Blende lässt sich leicht in alle Positionen verstellen. Die Optik ist bis auf ein paar kleine Punkte ziemlich sauber. Die Kamera ist 21 × 21 x 6,5 cm groß. Das Format ist 8 x 11 cm. Der Balgen ist sehr gut erhalten und lichtdicht. 
Sie stammt aus einer Sammlung die in den achtziger Jahren erstellt worden ist. Der Sammler hat ganze Stände auf Märkten in England gekauft. Diese Kamera ist wahrscheinlich seit ihrer Herstellung immer mit Sorgfalt und Vorsicht behandelt worden.
