"Bodyworks" is a collection of works by Japanese designer Issey Miyake. In the 1980s, Miyake deepened his exploration of bodily movement and form, creating "Bodyworks" clothing out of materials other than fabric, such as plastic, paper, and wire. This book was published in conjunction with the 1983 exhibition of the same name.

Beginning with portraits by Marcus Leatherdale featuring Warhol and Rauschenberg as models, the book continues with "Thoughts on Japanese Double Suicides," directed by Tadanori Yokoo and photographed by Toru Kogure, followed by an interview with Miyake by editor Shuji Shimamoto, texts by Shinichiro Kurimoto (economic anthropologist) and Jakucho Setouchi, and finally, portraits by Eiichiro Sakata of prominent Japanese figures from various fields clad in Issey Miyake designs. This book offers a multifaceted portrayal of Miyake's world through a stellar lineup.

Other photographers included Kazumi Kurigami, Helmut Newton, and Kishin Shinoyama, and illustrations by American graphic designer Milton Glaser.
