Copeland Victoriaanse serveerschaal met nautisch motief – mogelijk van HMS Flora (1808)

Een bijzonder object: deze antieke serveerschaal van Copeland (ca. 1800-1850) draagt een groen transferdecor met een driemast-zeilschip. Een historisch label op de achterkant suggereert dat de schaal afkomstig is van het Britse oorlogsschip HMS Flora, dat in 1808 bij Terschelling vastliep. Het is afkomstig uit familiebezit die op Terschelling leefde. 

Fabrikant: Copeland (Staffordshire, Engeland)

Datatie: ca 1800-1850

Decoratie: groen transferware, nautisch motief

Herkomst: mogelijk officiersmess van HMS Flora (1808), vastgelopen bij Terschelling

Conditie: goede staat met typische ouderdomssporen; label nog deels aanwezig

Uniek verzamelobject voor liefhebbers van maritieme geschiedenis en keramiek.
