Ancienne boîte à pinceaux d’artiste  en acajou – XIXᵉ siècle

Coffret rectangulaire en bois massif d’acajou, patine brune chaleureuse, équipé d’une poignée en laiton à deux platines circulaires. Fermeture par serrure en laiton (clé absente).
L’intérieur est aménagé en trois compartiments longs et étroits, permettant de ranger pinceaux, plumes ou outils d’artiste.
Sa légèreté et sa poignée robuste en font un objet de transport pratique, probablement destiné à un peintre, aquarelliste ou calligraphe.

Époque : XIXᵉ siècle, travail européen.
Dimensions : L 46.2 cm * P 14.5 cm * H 7.5 cm
État : bon état général avec marques d’usage, patine homogène, charnières et poignée solides.

Bel objet de charme pour collectionneur  ou pour décoration, pouvant retrouver une fonction décorative ou utilitaire dans un atelier d’artiste, illustrant le savoir-faire de l’ébénisterie d’époque et la noblesse de l’acajou.
