Platinum Nugget - Height: 45 mm - Width: 16 mm- 31 g

Very rare and unique Natural Platinum nugget. BRAGGITE Natural PGE alloys. PGE (platinum-group element) sulfide ore refers to a type of magmatic sulfide deposit enriched in nickel (Ni), copper (Cu), and platinum-group elements. These ores form when an immiscible sulfide liquid segregates from a silicate magma, often due to processes like magma mixing, differentiation, or contamination. The resulting sulfide-rich deposits are the world's primary source of platinum and palladium and are also significant for nickel and copper. Non magnetic. Tested with hydrogen peroxide, an immediate reaction is catalyzed. Natural platinum has a Mohs hardness of 4-5, making it moderately fragile. Despite careful multi-layer packaging, we cannot guarantee that the mineral will be delivered undamaged, please take this into account.
