Carré Foulard Hermès “ Le Cirque Molière”

Désigner: Philippe Dumas

De 1880 à 1934 s’illustra, rue de Bénouville à Paris, un cirque à l’entrée gratuite et à la troupe d’artistes bénévoles issus de la fine fleur mondaine, goûtant à l’antique volupté de l’amateurisme. Son directeur, Earnest Molier, “ homme cerraure”, donnait un gala annuel où clowns, trapézistes mais surtout écuyers et écuyères, prouvaient à un public huppé qu’on peut réussir en s’amusant et que le loisir est un levain prodigieux.

Édite en 1983, réédite en 1995 et 2003

Rare et recherche par les collectionneurs.
