Luc Best is one of the leading German artists of German Pop-/Street Art and Modern Popart.
His internationally sought-after artworks take the thematic world of automobilia , comic heroes and great icons of the film and music world of the 60's and 70's. In the high-end classic car scene and among pop art lovers, the strictly limited works now have cult status.
The appeal of his pictures lies in the density of their content and the intensity of their colours, which show motifs that we think we know, but which have been created in a completely new way.
Luc Best has exhibited his paintings in various galleries, fairs, art exhibitions and in the State Archive of Bremen and has achieved international attention with various prizes and with sales to the Middle East,Sweden, Ireland, France, Switzerland,Russia and Hollywood's film industry (film posters).
