You are bidding on a very fine and rare antique italian violin. The instrument is in ready to play condition with some small repaired cracks on top. The label says: Dominicus Busani fecit Anno 1770 Venetiis. 
The violin has an excellent medium grained spruce of the top and one piece back of interesting flamed wood. The whole length of the violin is 592 mm and the back 360 mm. The width of the upper bouts: 173 mm; middle bouts: 120 mm; lower bouts: 210 mm. The sound of this instrument is of a charming character, rich and beautiful colors, depth and great carrying power.
