Cimier - bois - tiwara - Mali 

Les cimier Tiwara, ou Ci Wara, sont des masques coiffants en bois, emblématiques de la culture Bambara du Mali. Ils représentent traditionnellement un animal mythique, souvent une antilope stylisée, symbole de l’agriculture et de la fertilité. Ces masques sont portés lors de danses rituelles destinées à honorer la terre et encourager de bonnes récoltes, incarnant l’harmonie entre l’homme, la nature et le monde spirituel.

Caractérisés par des formes élancées, des cornes longues et fines, ainsi que des motifs géométriques gravés ou sculptés, les cimier Tiwara allient abstraction et naturalisme. Chaque pièce reflète un équilibre subtil entre dynamisme et sérénité, traduisant à la fois la force et la grâce nécessaires à la vie agricole. Ces objets rituels témoignent d’un savoir-faire ancestral toujours vivant chez les Bambara.
