Ancien jeu de backgammon de la maison Van Laere, célèbre fabricant de billards à Bruxelles.

Probablement réalisé dans les années 1930 ce modèle dispose d'un intérieur en feutre vert orné de motifs géométriques jaunes et noirs, et d'une mallette en bois avec un fermoir métallique.

Le jeu comprend 30 pions en bois (15 noirs et 15 naturels), deux dés, et deux gobelets en cuir. La très vieille boîte, dont les usures du temps font tout le charme, est également remarquable. Les dés sont usés, ce qui leur donne aussi leur charme. Un pion noir n'est pas d'origine, mais il reste ancien, et les deux gobelets ne sont pas non plus d'époque.

Van Laere est une entreprise belge fondée en 1921, spécialisée dans les billards artisanaux, les jeux de café et les accessoires de jeux. Reconnue pour la qualité de ses créations, elle a fourni de nombreux établissements prestigieux en Belgique et à l'étranger.

Le jeu est complet et en bon état, idéal pour les amateurs de jeux traditionnels ou les collectionneurs.
