Buffet signé G.T Rackstraw en acajou, sur 6 pieds, 2 larges tiroirs au centre, 2 rangements latéraux avec portes comprenant une étagère centrale. Il dénote par son sublime polissage à la française d'une brillance remarquable.
Les portes et tiroirs sont parfaitement fonctionnels, ouverture et fermeture fluide.
Charnières et poignées d'origine.
Les rangements latéraux sont composé d'une étagère centrale, étonnamment plus spacieuse qu'il n'y parait. largeur et hauteur des tiroirs offrant un bel espace, aux dimensions idéales, pouvant être aménagé.
Comme tout meuble ancien, de très léger défauts sont à noter, bien qu'ils ne soient perceptibles que lorsque l'on s'y attarde.
Les rayures du plateau ne se révèlent qu'en s'abaissant en vue rasante.
Toute la façade est en excellent état, présentant néanmoins quelques éclats, bien que ces derniers se dissimulent subtilement dans les nobles nuances du bois.
La particularité de ce buffet réside essentiellement dans ses tons clairs, apportant une dimension plus chaleureuse que ce que l'artiste a pu produire, révélant toute sa noblesse et son élégance.
