This French round side table, dating to circa 1940, is a refined Louis XVI revival piece, echoing the grandeur of late 18th-century neoclassical design while embodying the craftsmanship of the early 20th century.

The table features a polished dark-green marble circular top, richly veined and lustrous, bordered with a gilt-bronze beaded rim for a touch of elegance. Supporting the top are three gilt-bronze legs, each adorned with finely cast ram’s heads, connected by festooned garlands, and terminating in acanthus motifs. At the center, a red-brown stone urn accent with gilded details enhances the composition, underscoring the table’s decorative richness.
