Superbe sceptre ancien Tiv du Nigeria. C'est un objet d'apparat, il définit le rang social de son propriétaire. La sculpture est fine et réussi. Le visage est expressif et vivant. Des motifs fin ornent le haut et le bas de l'objet. La partie central et la langue/lame sortant de sa bouche sont en métal. Le reste de l'objet et en bronze. C'est une oeuvre sensible, belle et rayonnante. 
La patine est ancienne, belle, avec plusieurs couches d'oxydation. Les parties hautes et basses en bronze furent réalisées avec la technique de la cire perdu (voir Google) ce qui rend cette oeuvre unique. Bon état de conservation, voir photos, vendu en l'état. Une belle pièce de collection ancienne et authentique. Circa 1950.
