Bowers & Wilkins ASW 600 Subwoofer The Bowers & Wilkins ASW-600 is a high-quality, active subwoofer designed for small to medium-sized home theatre or hi-fi systems. With a sealed (closed-box) design, it produces deep, tight bass without the rumble or resonance that ported designs sometimes introduce. Its moderate footprint and front-firing speaker make it reasonably easy to position. The ASW-600 combines robustness and flexibility: it has generous power output, variable filtering and crossover controls, and accepts both speaker-level and line-level inputs. The front face placement of the driver means more freedom in where you put it in the room. This subwoofer is ideal for pairing with B&W loudspeakers like the DM601 S3, DM602 S3, or DM602.5 S3, but works well with many other systems. Whether used for music or movies, it delivers rich bass without overwhelming the rest of the sound spectrum. To deliver this product properly, it is carefully packed in very strong boxes, thereby wrapped in bubble wrap with lots of padding.
