De Rupel Boom – Art Deco vaas “Ruby” N° 69

Zeer fraaie Art Deco vaas “Ruby”, model N° 69, vervaardigd door de Belgische glasfabriek De Rupel in Boom. Deze fabriek, ook bekend als Booms Glas, stond in de eerste helft van de 20e eeuw bekend om haar vernieuwende ontwerpen en de hoge kwaliteit van afwerking.

Deze vaas is uitgevoerd in zacht roze glas en afgewerkt met een opvallende geometrische decoratie in goudschilderingen, een typisch kenmerk van de expressieve Art Deco-stijl. De contrasterende kleuren en de glanzende goudaccenten geven het stuk een luxueuze en speelse uitstraling.

Conditie:
Zeer goede staat, met slechts minimale gebruikssporen. De originele gouddecoratie is hier en daar wat vervaagd maar nog bijzonder mooi bewaard gebleven, wat gezien de leeftijd uitzonderlijk is.
Aan de binnenkant van de hals zijn enkele kleine clips, zie foto's.

Dit stuk is niet enkel een mooi voorbeeld van Belgische Art Deco, maar ook een stukje industrieel erfgoed, dat de artistieke verfijning en technische kunde van Booms Glas illustreert. Een waardevol verzamelobject voor kenners én liefhebbers van decoratief glaswerk.
