Smiths pre-war autoklok – ca. 1930–1940 – nummer 35224 – werkend ! 

Zeer fraaie en goed bewaarde Smiths autoklok uit het interbellum, voorzien van nummer 35224. Dit type klok werd in de jaren ’30 en vroege jaren ’40 veel toegepast in luxere Britse auto’s en motorcars, onder meer door merken als MG, Bentley, Austin, Wolseley en Rover.

De klok heeft een klassiek rond metalen kastje met fraaie zilverkleurige bezel en duidelijke wijzerplaat met verfijnde cijfers. Het is een degelijk mechanisch uurwerk, zoals gebruikelijk in deze periode. Dit exemplaar verkeert in werkende staat, wat bijzonder is gezien de leeftijd. De klok kan manueel opgewonden binnenin.
