Seller's description Spectacular Oris Pointer Date • Black Dial • Red Arrow Date Hand • Caliber 704 KIF (7 Jewels) • Circa late 1960s/early 1970s This is a beautiful early Oris Pointer Date in a classic pilot/dress style, with a black glossy dial, warm cream-colored Arabic numerals, and the signature red-tipped central hand, which displays the outer date range 1-31. At 33.5 mm with the crown, it has an elegant appearance, a standard men's watch size at the time, and today it makes a perfect unisex vintage piece. Condition • Case: Chrome-plated stainless steel case back; gradually polished bezel; drilled lugs for easy strap changes. There is fair wear on the lugs and crown, consistent with age; no deterioration on the wrist. • Crystal: Flawless domed acrylic • Crowns and Hour and Minute Hands: Luminous, period-matching hour and minute hands; crown winds and adjusts seamlessly. Movement It houses the Oris Caliber 704 KIF, a 7-jewel, manually wound movement with KIF shock protection, as stamped on the bridge. The marked date mechanism moves accurately.
