NEW MOON, est entièrement noire en l’honneur de la nouvelle lune, dont elle porte le nom.
Ce modèle se distingue par sa fonction phase de lune noire, sans doute la plus poétique de toutes les complications horlogères. Sur le disque des phases de lune qui tourne dans le compteur positionné à 2 heures, on y voit Snoopy, associé aux missions spatiales habitées depuis les années 60, allongé sur la Lune. À la lumière UV, une citation cachée de la bande dessinée Snoopy se dévoile parmi les croissants de lune et les étoiles. Tous les cadrans portent les logos OMEGA X SWATCH, Speedmaster et MoonSwatch. La construction du verre biosourcé bombé, le « S » gravé au centre du verre en référence au logo Swatch, le motif circulaire fin et sophistiqué sur l’anneau extérieur du cadran et les compteurs encastrés, la construction des bordures à la fois nettes et lisses, le détail typique du « point sur 90 » sur la lunette tachymétrique en biocéramique et, bien sûr, le toucher unique de la biocéramique sont communs à tous les modèles.
