Autograph Letter signed, to James Smith Esq saying that he is “sorry but the Volunteer Review picture is not by my father. I have asked the Gallery people to return it ...”, 1 side 8vo., with original autograph envelope addressed to Mr Smith in Edinburgh, 15 Buckingham Palace Mansions headed paper, postmarked 21st January 1924. At this time Doyle was very involved with his interests in Freemasonly and Spiritualism.
