Questa drusa ornamentale rappresenta un esemplare decorativo, composta da cristalli naturali a base di quarzo e ametista, sottoposti a un trattamento superficiale tramite electroplating (deposito elettrolitico di metalli). Questo processo, spesso realizzato con metalli nobili come titanio, oro, platino o indio, crea una pellicola ultrafine che interagisce con la luce, generando una vibrante iridescenza multicolore.
Le tonalità variano dal viola intenso al fucsia, dal verde smeraldo al turchese, fino a riflessi dorati e blu elettrico, offrendo una palette cromatica dinamica e cangiante. La superficie cristallina, ben sviluppata e con bordi nitidi, amplifica l’effetto ottico grazie alla rifrazione della luce sulle faccette naturali.
